21 presentations were given throughout the day-long event. Presentations from industry representatives gave an overview of some of the challenges within a specific industry and identified areas of opportunity. Some presenters from the technology arena spoke about their applications of specific sensor or microsystem device to a specific challenge within a specific food or agricultural industry.

This information-rich conference highlighted the vast number of opportunities there are to marry technology and technological knowledge to the food and agricultural industries in the Northeast to improve the economic potenital and viability of these industries that support much of the Northeast's economy.
